Test Engineer | Bank | 4-month Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Write test cases, prepare and create test data, execute and retest test cases.
• Leverage in-house GenAI tools to support test case generation, enrichment, and optimization of testing processes.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
• Identify, report, and track software defects and issues.
• Perform functional, performance, security, and regression testing of software products.
• Report test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders and work on their resolution.
• Provide suggestions and feedback to improve the quality of the software development process across teams.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related technology roles.
• Experience in test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools or GenAI-enabled testing solutions is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
